East Jakarta will Hold Emission Test on January 24-February 28

The East Jakarta Government is set to hold an emission test at low rates in 10 sub-districts, from January 24 to February 28, 2022. It was realized in collaboration with PT. Rizqi Putra Pratama through corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Therefore, we need to cooperate with third parties who want to carry out door-to-door vehicle emission test in East Jakarta

East Jakarta Secretary, Fredy Setiawan assessed, this service was provided because number of motor vehicles that carried out the test was very small. In overall, it was only 7.6 percent for cars and 0.76 percent for motorcycles in Jakarta.

"Therefore, we need to cooperate with third parties who want to carry out door-to-door vehicle emission test in East Jakarta," he said after meeting with representatives of PT. Rizqi Putra Pratama on the 2nd floor of Block A Building, East Jakarta Mayor Office, Wednesday (1/19).

90 Vehicles in Petojo Utara Undergo Emission Test

PT. Rizqi Pulogadung Pratama Director, Suherna explained, in this activity, his side will apply emission test rate as much as Rp 125,000/vehicle for cars and Rp 40,000/vehicle for motorcycles. The price is cheaper than in general workshops which reaches Rp 156,000 - Rp 200,000 for cars and Rp 60,000 for motorcycles.

Here are schedules of the upcoming emission test service in East Jakarta:

- January 24-31: in Jatinegara and Duren Sawit sub-districts

- February 1-8: in Kramat Jati, Ciracas, Pasar Rebo sub-districts

- February 9-16: in Pulogadung and Cakung sub-districts

- February 17-28: in Cipayung, Makasar, and Matraman sub-districts

"We are ready to serve all vehicles that want to take emission test," he mentioned.
